1. PTO Meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Program topic is Standards-based report cards. Our elementary school report is based on standards. The middle and high school are considering moving to the use of standards to measure student achievement. What does this mean for your child? Please join us for an informative discussion on this topic. After this program presentation, we will present updates on fundraising and enrichment efforts and continue our planning for teacher appreciation week, among other topics.
2. Spring Flower Bulb Sale. Don’t forget to turn in your order forms by Monday, April 7! Thanks to everyone who has already placed their order. This is the only fundraising event we are doing for the Spring, so it is an important one. We are hoping to raise $5,000 for enrichment for next year. We got a great start from the Hannaford funds that were recently received.
3. Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week: Is the week of May 4. We have great stuff being planned – contact me if you want to help!
4. HDES Night at the Sea Dogs Game: Is Friday, May 9. Don’t miss the fun – watch for flyer coming to you soon.
5. Teen Elementary Student Show (“TESS”), sponsored by our PTO, is being presented at 2 for students and at 6 tonight in the cafeteria. All are welcome!
